Rachel Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Wolverhampton's Faculty of Education Health & Wellbeing. With a career spanning over three decades, she has worked in nursing, education, and arts-based mental health initiatives. Her expertise includes experiential group work, critical perspectives in mental health, and therapeutic use of self.

- Masters in Social Science – Cultural Studies (University of Birmingham, 1997)
- Post Graduate Award Philosophy and Ethics of Mental Health (University of Warwick, 2003)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (University of Wolverhampton, 2011)
- Foundation Course & Post Graduate Certificate in Group Analytic Studies (Institute of Group Analysis, 2013-2014)
Her career includes roles as a Nurse Therapist in Personality Disorder Services (2006-2009), Senior Lecturer in Fine Art (1997-2005), and Arts Project Co-ordinator (1991-1997). She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Group Analysis as a Group Work Practitioner.
