Dr. Rachel Campbell is a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney within the Faculty of Science, affiliated with the Psycho-oncology Co-operative Research Group (PoCoG). Her research focuses on improving symptom management and quality of life for individuals with chronic diseases, particularly brain cancer patients. She specializes in developing patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and tailoring supportive care interventions. Current projects include implementing psychological distress screening for brain cancer populations and co-designing web-based self-management tools for cancer-related fatigue.
Her grant-funded work includes an MRFF-funded BRAINs program and a 2023 project developing clinical pathways for cancer-related fatigue. She collaborates internationally, evidenced by her work on Japanese quality-of-life instruments and palliative care sleep management.
