Raúl Reina is Professor at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche and member of the Motor Control and Learning (APCOM) research group. He received the 2019 Sanitas Foundation Award for Inclusive Sport Research for his contributions to adapted physical activity. Research focuses on inclusive sports policy, motor learning in disability sports, and equity in paralympic athletics.
Organizes the European Congress in Adapted Physical Activity and co-leads the 'Women, Sport and Disability' initiative. Research informs Spain's Strategic Alliance for Inclusive Sports policy framework.
