Rebecca Sansom is an Assistant Professor of Science Education at Texas A&M University, specializing in rural science teacher development and technology-mediated instructional strategies. Her work focuses on enhancing three-dimensional science education practices through collaborative lesson study frameworks and addressing the unique challenges faced by rural educators. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Inquiry from Brigham Young University (2019), an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Southern Utah University (2013), and advanced chemistry degrees from Harvard University and Boston University.
Her research interests include rural teacher networks, evidence-based STEM pedagogy, and the integration of digital tools to support educator collaboration.
