Qiyuan He

Dr. Qiyuan He is a Researcher at the Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Dalian University of Technology (2016) and a PhD in Chemistry from Osaka University (2022), where he studied under Prof. Naoto Chatani. His research focuses on transition-metal-catalyzed C-H activation, particularly palladium-catalyzed site-selective reactions via kinetic unfavorable six-membered palladacycles.

Research Interests:

Dr. He specializes in organic synthesis with an emphasis on developing novel catalytic methodologies for selective C-H functionalization. His PhD thesis advanced mechanistic understanding of six-membered palladacycle intermediates in C-H activation processes.
