Qing Xia

Dr. Qing Xia is a Research Fellow (Quantitative) at QUT's Faculty of Health, School of Public Health & Social Work. Holding a PhD from the University of Tasmania, their research focuses on health economic evaluation, obesity, diabetes, and epidemiology. Xia has contributed to significant studies on cost-effectiveness of medical interventions, global obesity trends, and healthcare policy analysis.

Key roles include co-chairing QUT academic symposia, facilitating international university collaborations, and serving on health services research committees. Their work spans systematic reviews in diabetes treatment comparisons and global vaccination coverage forecasts.
