Qing Liu

Qing Liu is an Assistant Professor and English Instructor in the Center for Language Education (CLE) at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China, where she has taught since September 2014. She previously taught at Shenzhen Polytechnic and held multiple instructional and research roles at the University of Florida, USA.

Research Interests

Dr. Liu’s scholarship centres on English writing (academic, professional, business), English reading pedagogy, process-oriented writing instruction, curriculum design, multicultural education, and comparative studies of Chinese and American language arts classrooms. Her work often explores how native-English-speaking instructors adapt their methods in Chinese higher-education contexts.
