Qing Li is a Professor of Applied Mechanics in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at The University of Manchester. He holds an adjunct professorship at Beijing Institute of Technology. With a PhD and higher doctorate (DEng) from the University of Liverpool, his expertise spans impact engineering, structural crashworthiness, and high-strain-rate material behavior. His research addresses challenges in protective technology, multi-scale mechanics modeling, and shock environment dynamics.
