Qin Yang

Dr. Qin Yang is an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut's Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Institute of Materials Science. With a Ph.D. from Rutgers University (2006), he specializes in designing conjugated organic and polymeric materials, organic/inorganic hybrid materials, and their applications in energy and environmental technologies. His research spans precise nanostructuring through supramolecular cooperation, Pt-containing photovoltaic materials, poly(chalcogenylene vinylene) synthesis, unconventional conjugated polymers, and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for charge separation.
