Qichen Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics from Georgia Institute of Technology (2018) and served as a postdoctoral scholar and research faculty member at Florida State University's Center for Advanced Power Systems until 2024. His research focuses on power electronics, insulation technology, high-voltage engineering, and renewable energy systems.
