Qiao He serves as a Ritt Assistant Professor at Columbia University, specializing in number theory and arithmetic geometry. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023 under Professor Tonghai Yang's supervision.
His academic journey includes:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics, University of Wisconsin-Madison (2023)
His research focuses on Shimura varieties, the Kudla-Rapoport conjecture, special cycles, and theta correspondence, bridging automorphic forms, representation theory, and arithmetic intersection theory. He investigates deep connections between modular forms and algebraic cycles, with emphasis on unitary and GSpin varieties.
Publications reveal a concentrated effort to advance the Kudla program through rigorous proofs for Kramer models and ramified primes, alongside explorations of Hecke correspondences and Hilbert modular surfaces. His collaborative work frequently appears in top-tier journals including Inventiones Mathematicae and Advances in Mathematics.
He maintains active collaborations with leading mathematicians such as Tonghai Yang, Yousheng Shi, and Rong Zhou across multiple preprints and publications.
