Qiang Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. He leads the Statistical Learning & AI Group, focusing on probabilistic graphical models, variational and Monte Carlo inference, deep reinforcement learning, and kernel methods with applications in crowdsourcing, computer vision, and bioinformatics.
