Qian Xiao is an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Maynooth University, within the Faculty of Science & Engineering. Her research focuses on machine learning, data privacy, educational data analytics, urban data modeling, and climate change AI, with recent work on self-supervised deep learning for tabular data.

Her grants include SFI Future Digital Challenge and ARC Hub funding. Current projects bridge AI applications in education and urban sustainability.
