Qadri Mishael is a Lecturer in Data Analytics at De Montfort University, affiliated with the School of Computer Science and Informatics within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from DMU and has over 18 years of experience in academia across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UK.

Dr. Mishael's research centers on intelligent data analysis, with a focus on Machine Learning, Intention Mining, Sentiment Analysis, Natural Language Processing, Fuzzy Logic, and Social Network Analysis. His work leverages text analytics to understand user behavior on social media platforms, particularly Twitter. He applies advanced classification and feature selection techniques to extract user intentions from textual data, contributing to the fields of AI and social computing.
His recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on mining user intentions from Twitter using machine learning and text analytics. These works explore feature engineering, classification models, and the interplay between linguistic patterns and user intent in social media content.
He is affiliated with the Cyber Technology Institute (CTI) at DMU and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Dr. Mishael teaches a wide range of computer science courses including Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, Concurrent and Parallel Algorithms, E-commerce Software Development, and Programming in Java, Python, Scala, and C#. He also supervises final-year BSc and MSc projects, contributing to student research and development. He has presented his work at international conferences such as IDEAL 2019 in Manchester.
