Qëndrim R. Gashi

Qëndrim R. Gashi is a visiting professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, Department of Mathematics, since August 2024. He is on leave from the University of Prishtina, where he previously taught courses in Abstract Algebra, Galois Theory, Algebraic Topology, and Game Theory. His research spans Representation Theory, Algebraic Geometry, Number Theory, and combinatorial aspects, with a focus on root systems, toric varieties, and tropical geometry.

His diplomatic roles include Kosovo's Ambassador to France (2016-2021).
