Pål Richard Romundstad is a Professor of Epidemiology at the Department of Public Health and Nursing within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He also serves as a Research Adviser at St. Olavs Hospital, Trondheim University Hospital.
Research Interests: His work focuses on
- Cancer epidemiology
- Reproduction and pregnancy
- Life course and intergenerational studies
- Mendelian Randomisation
Publications: Romundstad's research spans cardiovascular risk factors, chronic disease patterns, and genetic epidemiology across Nordic populations. Key trends include long-term health outcomes after pregnancy complications, medication safety, and multi-generational health impacts.
