Prince Sunkwa-Mills is a part-time Senior Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Greenwich, joining in 2022. He concurrently serves as a Clinical Lead for the NHS Directory of Service and 111 Online at NHS Digital.
His research interests focus on the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare provision, patient centred care, reflective and evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and healthcare process improvement. With twenty years of nursing experience (sixteen in Community Nursing), he brings extensive expertise in staff training and transformation projects within Adult Community Nursing workforces.
Prince Sunkwa-Mills has held leadership roles including Head of Healthcare Provision at HMP ISIS (2013-2014), where his team's excellence was recognized by HMIP and CQC reports. Previous positions span District Nurse Team Leader (East London Foundation Trust, 2019-2022), Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Bromley Healthcare, 2016-2019), Nurse Consultant (Oxleas NHS Trust, 2015-2016), and Community Matron (Homerton University Hospital, 2009-2011). He actively promotes evidence-based practice and technology integration in nursing education through his academic role.
