Preeti Jain

Preeti Jain is a Researcher affiliated with the Centre for Health Law, Ethics and Technology in India. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), completed during the 2020-2021 academic batch. Her professional background includes filmmaking focused on educational reform and gender-neutral parenting, alongside extensive work with marginalized communities such as homeless children, refugees, and the Roma community in the UK. She has collaborated with organizations like the Human Rights Law Network and the British Council Youth Project, emphasizing legal aid, social integration, and human rights advocacy.

Her research interests revolve around the intersection of law, ethics, and technology, particularly in healthcare contexts. She has also engaged with initiatives promoting sex education and language integration for vulnerable groups. Preeti’s academic journey at FAU’s M.A. Human Rights programme deepened her understanding through interdisciplinary studies in politics, philosophy, and law, complemented by specialized seminars and a globally diverse peer network.

Currently, her role at the Centre for Health Law, Ethics and Technology reflects her commitment to advancing legal and ethical frameworks in healthcare, informed by her practical field experience and academic rigor.
