Predrag Cvetičanin is a Lecturer at the UNESCO Department of Cultural Policies and Cultural Management at the University of Art in Belgrade. He holds a PhD in Sociology of Culture from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, alongside multiple Master’s degrees from institutions including the Central European University (Prague), University of Belgrade, and the London School of Economics. His academic career includes roles as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš (1991–2010) and lecturer at the Faculty of Sport and Tourism in Novi Sad (2012–2015).

Research Focus: Cultural policy analysis, cultural management strategies, sociology of culture, social differentiation, cultural tourism development, and cultural practices. He emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to understanding cultural capital, institutional frameworks, and non-institutional cultural agents in Southeast Europe.
Projects & Leadership: Head of the Centre for Empirical Cultural Studies of South-East Europe. Coordinated over a dozen national/international projects including:
- "Life-strategies and Survival Strategies during Economic Crisis" (2014–2016)
- "Out of the Margins: Independent Cultural Scenes in SEE" (2014–2015)
- "Cultural Tourism Development in Vojvodina" (2014)
Publications: Authored/edited 12 books including "Social and Cultural Capital in Western Balkan Societies" (2012) and "Differentiation of Culture Manifestations in Vojvodina" (2014). Published 20+ journal articles and conference papers on cultural policy, social stratification, and cultural practices.
Affiliations: European Sociological Association (ESA) member since 2005, SCUD Network member since 2009, and Board Member of ESA Sociology of Culture Research Network since 2015.
