Pravin Balaraman

Pravin Balaraman is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business and Creative Industries, University of the West of Scotland. His expertise spans Marketing Strategy, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), International Marketing Management, and ERP systems in aviation sectors. He previously served as a Tutor for MBA programs at the University of Strathclyde and practiced as an Advocate in the High Court Madras, Chennai, India. He has held roles as Programme Leader for BA Marketing and MSc International Marketing Management, and is currently an External Examiner at Staffordshire University, University of West London, and Robert Gordon University.

Research focuses on CRM in Middle East banking, B2B relationships in higher education, and cross-cultural consumer behavior. Key contributions include studies on UAE banking CRM, UK-Malaysia private label comparisons, and organic food purchasing in Qatar/ UAE. His work addresses UN SDGs related to responsible consumption and partnerships.
