Praveen V. Mummaneni, MD is a Professor and Joan O'Reilly Distinguished Professor in Spinal Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. He serves as Co-Director of the UCSF Spine Center, Vice Chair of the Neurosurgery Department, and Lead Surgeon of UCSF Parnassus Perioperative Services. With over 530 peer-reviewed publications and editorial roles in journals like Neurosurgery and Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, he is a global leader in minimally invasive spinal surgery for deformities, tumors, and degenerative diseases.
