Prashanth Haribabu, DDS, BDS, MDS, MSD, is an Assistant Professor and Surgical Curriculum Unit (SCU) Director of Oral Surgery at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (MOSDOH), A.T. Still University. His expertise spans oral surgery, forensic dentistry, and implantology. He holds advanced degrees in dental surgery and has contributed to surgical education and clinical advancements.
Dr. Haribabu’s research focuses on surgical techniques, diagnostic challenges in oral pathology, and pain management. Notable contributions include innovative approaches in 3D-printed surgical modeling and forensic case studies. He has been awarded a $350,000 grant from Viome (2025) to support his work. Additionally, he actively engages in community service, such as the Give Kids a Smile event, aligning with MOSDOH’s mission to serve underserved populations.
His educational contributions include authoring Oral Pathology (2021) and Oral Board Review for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2021), aiding students and professionals. Dr. Haribabu also lectures internationally, including a guest presentation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (2025).
