Pramila Choudhary is a PhD Student and Junior Associate at the Loyola Sustainability Research Centre. She is affiliated with Concordia University's Department of Geography, Planning and Environment, where she works under the supervision of Dr. Nalini Mohabir.

Her research focuses on sustainability, circularity, and the application of craft-based knowledge systems to create livelihood opportunities. Her PhD work explores the use of sheep wool in arid/semi-arid regions of India and Canada, analyzing cultural, economic, and ecological dimensions of wool-based material culture.
Prior to her PhD, she worked in textiles and design with international markets and non-profits, implementing collaborative product design practices using natural materials. She also taught at Indian design schools while developing her expertise in sustainable design.
