Prajwal Gyawali

Prajwal Gyawali is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), based at the Toowoomba Campus. He is affiliated with the School of Health and Medical Sciences and holds expertise in clinical biochemistry, pathology, and medical sciences education. His academic qualifications include a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from Tribhuvan University, and a PhD from Charles Sturt University.

Dr. Gyawali teaches courses such as BIO3209 Pathology 2, BIO3215 Clinical Biochemistry 2, and BIO2215 Clinical Biochemistry 1. His research focuses on acute stroke recovery, haemorheology, stress resilience, and cardiovascular disease prevention, with broader interests in neurosciences, rehabilitation, and allied health sciences. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists.

As a research supervisor, he guides students in neurology, cardiovascular medicine, and rehabilitation science. His work intersects clinical practice, public health, and translational research, emphasizing evidence-based approaches to healthcare challenges.
