Pradeep Lamichhane

Dr. Pradeep Lamichhane is a Research Fellow at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick, since 2022. His work focuses on plasma-based technologies for sustainable chemical production and energy intensification, supported by the ERC Synergy Grant (SCOPE). He holds an MSc in Physics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and a PhD from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, specializing in non-thermal plasma generation and diagnosis. Prior to Warwick, he worked at the Plasma-Bioscience Research Centre.

Research Interests: Creation of cold atmospheric pressure plasma sources (plasma jets, DBD), plasma-liquid interactions, biomedical and agricultural applications, plasma standards development, and energy-efficient nitrogen fixation. His work bridges fundamental plasma physics with practical applications in agriculture, energy, and biotechnology.

Grants & Projects: Lead researcher on the ERC-funded SCOPE project exploring plasma-based chemical synthesis. Collaborative work includes plasma-catalyzed ammonia production and green ethylene synthesis. His grants emphasize sustainable technologies aligned with renewable energy integration.
