Prabhu Selvaraj is a Researcher at Loughborough University's Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST), UK. He holds a PhD in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Exeter (2019), an MSc Physics (2014), and a BSc Physics (2012) from Bharathiar University, India. His work focuses on advanced building facade design and renewable energy systems integration.
Research Interests:
- Photovoltaic materials for building-integrated applications
- Semi-transparent solar cells and fenestration systems
- Energy-efficient architectural materials
- Nanomaterials for solar energy conversion
Recent Projects: Postdoctoral research on EPSRC-EUED (Advanced Building Façade Design) and ERDF-ESIF (Energy Independent Farming). He previously developed energy models at Pure World Energy Ltd, optimizing CHP systems and carbon emission calculations.
Labs/Teams: Active in CREST's interdisciplinary research group focusing on renewable energy systems and sustainable building technologies.
