Prabhu Prasad Swain

Prabhu Prasad Swain is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Bioengineering within the School of Engineering at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He is affiliated with the Laboratory of Bio- and Nano-Instrumentation (LBNI), where he contributes to interdisciplinary research projects. Swain holds an Integrated M.Sc. in Physics with minors in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Electronics from UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai.

• Current Roles: Research Fellow at EPFL's LBNI, doctoral student in Biotechnology and Biological Engineering program.
• Education: Integrated M.Sc. in Physics (2015-2020) with interdisciplinary minors.

His research spans bio-instrumentation, nanotechnology, and applied mathematics, reflecting LBNI's focus on innovative biomedical tools. Swain is also a member of the STI faculty council at EPFL.
