Prabesh LUITEL is an Assistant Professor at IÉSEG School of Management in France. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economic Sciences (Business Economics) from KU Leuven, Belgium, along with multiple master's degrees in Economics, Mathematics, and Business Administration. His research focuses on bond markets, credit risk, international finance, sustainable finance, and machine learning applications in finance.
Professional experience includes postdoctoral research roles at KU Leuven and HEC-ULg Management School. He also served as a Logistics Manager at ZTE Corporation in Nepal. Dr. LUITEL has received the 2018 Best Paper Award from The European Capital Markets Institute.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on Debt Market Instruments, Econometrics of Banking, and Advanced Corporate Finance at the Grande École (Master's) level, as well as Global Finance in the MSc in International Business program.
His research explores topics such as sovereign credit ratings' impact on financial development, digital payment systems' economic effects, and emerging market dynamics. Recent work combines machine learning methodologies with traditional financial analysis.
