Povilas Aleksandravičius

Povilas Aleksandravičius is a Professor at the European Humanities University, Department of Humanities and Arts, and an Associate Professor at Mykolas Romeris University, Faculty of Human and Social Studies, Institute of Humanities. His research spans theoretical and applied philosophy.

• Metaphysics and its historical evolution
• Philosophical anthropology and political theory
• European identity and Bergson's philosophy
• Intersections of mysticism, philosophy, and social openness

Publications highlight his work on Bergson's concepts of creativity and democracy, social openness in philosophical thought, European identity, and Heidegger's hermeneutics. He has authored monographs on open society and European thought, alongside translating key French philosophical works into Lithuanian.
