Poonam Khatri serves as a Research Fellow in the Department of Forestry at Michigan State University's College of Agriculture & Natural Resources, working in association with Dr. Raju Pokharel in the Forest Economics and Resource Management (FERM) Lab.
Her research focuses on forest economics and sustainable resource management within the broader forestry discipline. As part of MSU's Department of Forestry, her work contributes to the university's comprehensive forestry research initiatives that span ecological, economic, and social dimensions of forest management.
Ms. Khatri is affiliated with the Forest Economics and Resource Management (FERM) Lab, one of several specialized research facilities within the department that also includes the Geospatial Laboratory, Forest Genetics Lab, Forest Ecology Laboratory, Green Bioproducts Science & Engineering Lab, Human Dimensions of Natural Resources Laboratory, Global Observatory for Ecosystem Services Laboratory, and Tropical Forest Ecology Laboratory.
