Polyxeni Georgiadou

Dr. Polyxeni Georgiadou is an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Nicosia, serving as Program Coordinator for the MSc in Counseling Psychology. She holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Crete, a Master's in Counseling Psychology from McGill University (Canada), and a PhD from the same institution. Her research focuses on counselor training, psychotherapy supervision, positive psychology, and evolutionary perspectives on mating behavior.

Her research bridges theoretical and applied aspects of psychology, emphasizing both evolutionary frameworks and clinical training methodologies.
