Pol Capdevila is a Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where he teaches Art Theory, Contemporary Art, and Image Theory. He holds a Degree in Philosophy and a PhD in Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).

- Teaching: MECLAP Master's program (Comparative Studies in Literature, Art, and Thought) and MURAD Master's program (Research in Art and Design).
His research focuses on the problem of time in contemporary art and visual culture, culminating in the publication of Espectros del tiempo. Estética e historicidad en el arte contemporáneo (Gedisa, 2023). He also contributes as an art critic to contemporary art magazines and actively disseminates philosophy and aesthetics.
