Piyush Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Analytics & Supply Chain at Florida Gulf Coast University's Lutgert College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business (2020). His research explores how organizational variables like culture, structure, and leadership influence supply chain decision-making processes, particularly alignment and outsourcing strategies.
With over 15 years of industry experience prior to academia, Shah worked as a buyer and supply chain trainer consultant. He is a certified trainer for APICS CSCP and APICS CPIM certifications, having trained professionals globally since 2010. His expertise bridges academic research and practical supply chain management.
