Rev. Dr. hab. Piotr Wiśniewski, Professor at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, serves as Vice-Rector and Head of the Department of Research on Religious Monody and Polyphony. His work focuses on liturgical musicology, Gregorian chant, and medieval Polish church music traditions. He has led projects like "Liturgical and Musical Sources of the Cistercian Abbey in Kraków-Mogila" and managed the "Musica Ecclesiastica" journal.
