Pilar Cacheiro

Dr. Pilar Cacheiro is a Lecturer in Computational Biology at Queen Mary University of London, affiliated with the William Harvey Research Institute and the Clinical Pharmacology and Precision Medicine Centre. She holds a BSc in Biology from the University of A Coruña, Spain, an MSc in Statistics, and a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her research focuses on identifying the molecular basis of human diseases, particularly rare disorders, through computational integration of model organism data, human genetics, and phenotype ontologies.
