معرفی
Pietro Celada is a Research Fellow at the Department of Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences, University of Parma. He has held this permanent research position since 1992, initially at the University of Trieste before transferring to Parma in 2002. His academic credentials include a Physics degree from the University of Milan (1983-1988) and a PhD in Functional Analysis from the International School for Advanced Studies in Trieste (1991-1996).
Research Focus: Dr. Celada specializes in mathematical analysis with particular expertise in measure theory and calculus of variations. His research explores fundamental structures in functional analysis with applications to physical modeling, including regularity theory of variational functionals and Sobolev spaces in infinite-dimensional contexts.
Publication Trends: His 20+ publications demonstrate dual expertise in theoretical research and pedagogical development. Recent works include advanced monographs on mathematical analysis (2022, 2024) alongside cutting-edge contributions to nonlinear functional analysis and variational methods (2013-2020), reflecting sustained productivity across both educational and research domains.
Teaching Portfolio: Since 2013, he has consistently taught core mathematics courses including:
- Calculus 2 for Civil Engineering students
- Mathematical Analysis 3 for Mathematics majors
- Functional Analysis
- Institutions of Advanced Analysis
