Pierre Picard is a Professor of Economics at École Polytechnique, where he is also a member of the Haut Collège. He holds a PhD in Economics and is a graduate of HEC-Paris. His academic career includes leadership roles such as President of the Risk Theory Society (2005) and President of the European Group of Insurance Economists (EGRIE) (2009).
