Pierre-Michel Menger

Pierre-Michel Menger is a Professor at Collège de France, where he holds the Sociology of Creative Work chair. His work spans sociology, economics, and higher education analysis, focusing on the evolving nature of work, meritocracy, and international academic systems.

His research explores the tension between routine and expressive labor, the sociology of talent, and the structural challenges in academia. He contributes to global debates on equity, efficiency, and the organization of scientific work.
