Pierre-Luc Bernier

Pierre-Luc Bernier, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at McGill University, affiliated with the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). He serves as an Associate Investigator at the RI-MUHC Glen site within the Cardiovascular Health Across the Lifespan Program.

• Research Focus: Cardiovascular surgery, congenital heart disease, gender differences in cardiovascular outcomes, pediatric cardiac interventions, and surgical outcomes.

His recent publications examine sex differences in surgical outcomes (e.g., Ross procedure), rare cardiac pathologies (e.g., intimal sarcoma, ectopic hepatic tissue), and vascular aging interventions.
