Pierre Lainey is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Management, HEC Montréal. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool (UK) and an MBA from ÉSG-UQÀM. His expertise focuses on Leadership, Organizational Behaviour, Change Management, Political Behaviour in Organizations, and Psychology of Decision Making. He currently serves as Program Director of the Office of the Certificates Program.
Dr. Lainey’s recent publications include two books: Psychologie de la décision (2024) and Pouvoir, influence et habiletés politiques dans les organisations (2024). His teaching activities over the past five years have covered courses such as Leadership in Clinical Environments, Decision-Making Psychology, and Political Skills in Organizations. He is certified as a Fellow of the Certified Management Consultants (FCMC) and holds a CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation.
