Prof. Dr. Pierre Koch is a full Professor at the University of Regensburg, holding the Chair of Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry II within the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy. His academic career spans prestigious institutions including the University of Tübingen (PhD under Prof. Stefan Laufer), University of California, Los Angeles (postdoc with Prof. Michael E. Jung), and University of Bonn (postdoc with Prof. Christa E. Müller). He served as Assistant Professor at Tübingen's Pharmaceutical Institute from 2013-2020 and completed his habilitation in 2018.
