Dr. Pierre Cariou is a Permanent Professor in Shipping and Port Economics at KEDGE Business School since 2010, previously serving as Professor at the World Maritime University (2004–2010) and Associate Professor at the University of Nantes (2001–2004). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Nantes (2000) and specialized in strategic alliances in liner shipping through his doctoral research conducted at the University of Nantes and Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
