Phillip Davis

Phillip Davis is a Professor and Department Chair of the Physician Assistant Studies program at Emory & Henry School of Health Sciences. He also serves as Program Director, Course Director for Physician Assistant Practice, and chairs the Graduate and Health Professions Curriculum Committee. His roles include volunteering at the Mel Lehman Free Clinic and providing sports medicine coverage for Emory & Henry athletics.

• Master of Healthcare Administration, George Washington University (2023)

His expertise spans clinical medicine, healthcare administration, and orthopaedic practice. He has held leadership roles in the U.S. Navy as Orthopaedic PA Specialty Leader and founding Director of the U.S. Navy Orthopaedic PA Fellowship. Awards include distinction in the American Academy of Physician Associates and Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society.

He serves on the Smyth County Hospital Health Trust Board and is a veteran with ties to the Francis Marion VFW. Personal interests include home/auto repair, history, and outdoor activities.
