Philippe Seys is a Lecturer in Biblical Theology at the Faculty of Theology, Catholic University of the West (UCO). Since 2014, he has been an active member of UCO's research group "The Bible & its Readings", focusing on exegetical and hermeneutic approaches to scriptural texts. He has taught at the Saint-Martin Community's training center since 1993.

Philippe Seys' scholarly work emphasizes linguistic analysis of biblical languages (Greek, Hebrew) and social criticism in scriptural narratives. His doctoral thesis on the "Sign of Jonah" in Matthew integrates hermeneutic frameworks for disciple interpretation.
