His research investigates managerial learning dynamics within complex projects and programs, emphasizing how decision-making frameworks and strategic choices enhance project performance. Complementing this, he pioneers educational innovation through custom-developed simulations and serious games that bridge theoretical concepts with practical project management execution.
Professor Ruiz has supervised dozens of master's students and regularly participates in thesis committees and doctoral juries throughout European academic institutions.
