Philippe Giguere is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University. He joined Clemson in January 2023 and teaches courses in thermo-fluids. Prior to this, he held leadership roles in wind turbine technology and design at General Electric for over 22 years, alongside instructing the Edison Engineering Development Program and earning a Design for Six Sigma Black Belt certification. His research spans applied aerodynamics, with experience at the University of Illinois and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. He is a co-inventor of eight patents and co-author of 26 publications and three books.
