معرفی
Philippe Bouvet is a Professor at École normale supérieure de Lyon (ENS de Lyon) and a CNRS researcher, with dual roles as a scientific adviser at the National Research Agency (ANR). His research focuses on molecular biology, cancer mechanisms, nucleolin functions, and ribosome biogenesis. He earned his PhD from the University of Rennes, followed by postdoctoral studies at NIH. Key contributions include nucleolin targeting in pancreatic cancer, RNA stability studies, and innovations in super-resolution microscopy. Bouvet leads CRCL cancer research and chairs ANR’s biochemistry evaluation committees. He was honored as an Institut universitaire de France member (2005).
Research interests span nucleolin’s role in cancer immunosuppression, ribosome alterations under drug treatments, and epigenetic regulation via histone variants like MacroH2A1. His work integrates nanomedicine for targeted drug delivery and advanced imaging techniques like dSTORM. Collaborations include CRCL, Joliot Curie Lab, and ANR initiatives. Recent articles highlight nucleolin-based therapies, ribosome-drug interactions, and fluorescent probe development.
