Philipp Slusallek is a Professor at Saarland University and Scientific Director at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). As co-founder of the European AI initiative CAIRNE and former Director of Research at the Intel Visual Computing Institute, he bridges academia and industry in artificial intelligence, simulated reality, and high-performance computing.
