معرفی
Philipp Haslinger is an Associate Professor at Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien), leading the research group focused on developing novel tools for matter-wave optics with atoms and electrons. His work explores dark energy-motivated 5th forces and inertial effects from thermal radiation. He holds dual affiliations in the Research Unit of Atom Physics and Quantum Optics (E141-02) and the Service Unit of University Service Centre for Transmission Electron Microscopy (E057-02). He is also a member of the Erwin Schrödinger Center for Quantum Science & Technology (ESQ).
Research Interests: Haslinger's group specializes in quantum optics, atomic physics, and experimental investigations of fundamental physics using matter-wave systems. Their work bridges theoretical predictions (e.g., dark energy effects) with cutting-edge experimental techniques in quantum science and technology.
Advising & Team: Supervises a dynamic team including PhD students (Matthias Kolb, Thomas Weigner, et al.) and master’s students. Alumni include researchers like Harsh Mishra and Mira Maiwöger.
Labs/Infrastructure: Based at TU Wien's Atom Institut (Stadionallee 2, Wien), equipped for advanced quantum experiments. Engages with transmission electron microscopy facilities via his service unit role.
