Philip Tower is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communications at Aquinas College, where he has served for 25 years. He teaches courses such as Understanding Mass Media, Introduction to Communication, and Introduction to Radio Production. Tower holds undergraduate and Master's degrees from Central Michigan University.
With 35 years in broadcasting, his career includes on-air roles across multiple stations in Michigan, Ohio, New York, and Minnesota. He has managed non-commercial radio station WYCE-FM and the nationally syndicated Allen Hunt Radio Show. Currently, he directs news and programming for iHeartmedia's WOOD AM & FM Radio and TALK 1230 WTKG in Grand Rapids.
Active in community leadership, Tower serves on boards for Spectrum Health Foundation, the Greenville Area Community Foundation, and advisory boards for Grand Valley State University and Central Michigan University's College of the Arts and Media.
